Do I need a piano to learn?

For beginners a keyboard is fine to learn on. As you improve you might wish to consider investing in an electric or acoustic piano that is touch sensitive with pedals. Keyboards are often for sale on local social media sites and eBay - you don’t need to buy a new one. I’m happy to give advice if you are thinking about buying a keyboard or piano.

How old should my child be to learn?

Age 6 and above is ideal. You cannot be too old to learn though!

Can I learn online?

Yes you can learn online. Face-to-face lessons are often best however for beginners. For online lessons you will need good internet speed.

My child has special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) - can they still learn?

Absolutely. Music is for everyone. I tailor my teaching to the student, not the other way around. I have a Level 2 Certificate in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
